Hi there! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am Ipsita and my name has its roots in the ancient language of Sanskrit, meaning the most cherished or the desired. Being the first born to my parents, I guess the name was justified (my sister is named Amrita to rhyme with my name, I assure you she is not too happy about this :P). After completing my undergraduate studies in Chemistry, I traveled half way across the world from India to United States to pursue my PhD study.
What I like to do in my limited free time!
- Reading books (I love reading contemporary Indian writers like Rohinton Mistry, but being a voracious reader I can read anything I lay my hands on)
- Cooking (A more recent hobby I concede, but my kitchen has seen a few MasterChef worthy dishes 😀 )
